Extended Responsibility for Sustainable Waste Management

The aim of this project is to raise awareness about the concept of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and encourage active citizen participation in recycling processes, waste reduction, and the promotion of sustainable consumption. 

Through a series of educational tools, such as animated video and informative brochures, the project will highlight the role and significance of extended producer responsibility as a key component in the waste management chain. Citizens will be visually informed about what extended producer responsibility entails, including various models of EPR schemes (such as Deposit Return Systems – DRS and REUSE systems), with a special focus on the active role of citizens in this process.
