PREGLED

The “Urban Garden Pomorandža” project aims to create a sustainable community garden and home composting system in the urban space of the Pomorandža building, promoting sustainable waste management. Through the installation of composters, distribution of waste separation bins, education of residents, and involving young volunteers and schools, the project enables waste recycling into compost for growing plants. Activities include planting according to permaculture principles, enclosing the space, and building furniture from recycled materials. Educational workshops and weekend actions encourage the community to adopt sustainable practices. The result is a green oasis that improves the quality of life, contributes to waste reduction, and serves as an example of sustainable use of urban spaces.
