Summary
MISSION4WATER is a project focused on enhancing innovation among SMEs in the Adriatic-Ionian (IPA ADRION) region through collaboration with diverse stakeholders, particularly within the “quadruple helix” innovation model (involving academia, industry, government, and civil society). The project aims to boost the development of green innovations and clean technologies, especially targeting water pollution reduction. Key goals include fostering cross-border and cross-sector collaboration across four value chains (polymers, textiles, household appliances, and water treatment) to develop innovative solutions.
MISSION4WATER will act as a “co-innovation lab,” helping SMEs leverage emerging technologies and collaborative knowledge-sharing practices. Outcomes include establishing a sustainable collaboration model, generating 20 innovative solutions to tackle pollutants in water, and fostering shared knowledge and best practices across multiple sectors. Through its integrated approach, MISSION4WATER seeks to drive both environmental impact and competitiveness in the region.
