Summary
Zero Waste Montenegro (ZWMNE) partnered with Iberostar Hotels Herceg Novi, Bellevue and Slavija in a collaborative effort to address waste reduction challenges in Montenegro. Our consultants are providing expert guidance to achieving Iberostar Group’s global goal of “zero waste to landfill” by 2025 in the Montenegrin local context, where waste infrastructure is still underdeveloped.
In this regard, ZWMNE’s expertise in waste reduction and resource optimisation is crucial in navigating the complex landscape of waste management in Montenegro and creatively adapting to its unique challenges.
For this project, our team combined in-depth knowledge of zero-waste practices and context-relevant expertise and applied our waste reduction know-how to the local context, demonstrating relevant problem-solving skills in addressing the specific obstacles faced in Montenegro.
